Algelle™Ag Extra is a Silver Calcium Alginate dressing with higher silver content and thicker compare to Algelle™Ag. This mean Algelle™Ag Extra provide higher absorption

and higher wet tensile strength. Algelle™Ag EXTRA will not only provides good absorption and haemostasis for the wound but also combats more effectively to the pathogenic microbial activity in the wound.

 

The extra silver content in Algelle™Ag EXTRA provides broad spectrum of anti-microbial activity including MRSA and MRSE. In result, it  will tackle the microbial colony in the wound bed area with its silver sustainable release and bring the wound back into its equilibrium state.
